Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SpendOS application at app.spendos.sk ("SpendOS", the "Service"), operated by Appticore s.r.o., Slovakia ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

SpendOS is a multi-tenant accounting tool that helps businesses manage bank transactions and match them with invoices and receipts, including optional integrations with banking providers, Google Drive and email inboxes. We may add, change or remove features over time.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate registration information and are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be authorised to act on behalf of the business you register. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access it without authorisation, disrupting its operation, uploading unlawful content, or using it to process data you have no right to process. You are responsible for the data you connect or upload and for ensuring you have the necessary rights and consents.

4. Third-party integrations

The Service can connect to third-party services such as Google Drive, banking aggregation providers (SaltEdge) and email providers. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We access third-party data only as described in our Privacy Policy and you can disconnect any integration at any time.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of the data you submit to the Service. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process that data in order to provide the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and content (excluding your data), is owned by Appticore s.r.o. and protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may perform maintenance, update features, or suspend access where necessary to protect the Service or comply with the law.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. SpendOS assists with bookkeeping but does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice; you remain responsible for verifying your records and meeting your obligations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appticore s.r.o. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data handling follows our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Slovakia.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
